Muniguda: Anti-Maoist posters surfaced at Bhursikhuma chhak of Patraguda panchayat near here in Rayagada district Monday. The posters were put up by the inhabitants of Niyamgiri.
Maoists were asked in the posters to refrain from harassing innocent people by branding them as police informers, as also kidnapping and killing of poor villagers, branding them as Vedanta agents. The posters also condemned the killing of innocent tribal and dalit youths and women of Niyamgiri.
Police reached the spot, seized the posters and launched an investigation.
