Bhubaneswar, Jan 18: The duo of Dibyalok Patnaik and AC Sutar qualified for the National final with 27 stableford points in the Audi Quattro Cup golf tournament which was conducted at the Bhubaneswar Golf Club here Saturday. They finished runners-up to the winning duo of KP (Mukul) Das and Rajnish Das who bagged top honours with 28 stableford points. The team of Shailendra Upadhyay and Ajay Patnaik finished second runners-up.
The VIIth edition of the Audi Quattro Cup golf tournament will be organised in 13 other cities and see the participation of over 1,500 golfers. This event which is conducted worldwide will bring together 85,000 golfers from 54 countries. In the Indian leg, the next event will be played on the Royal Calcutta Golf Club courses January 21.
In other events played on the day, DM Misra (Babi) won the ‘Straightest drive’ with a lovely swing on hole 10.
