Selection trials
The selection trials of the under-23 Cuttack A and B teams for the upcoming Kalahandi Cup inter-district cricket tournament team will be conducted May 24 at Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Cricket Academy ground, Odisha District Athletic Association (ODAA) announced in a press release, Monday. The affiliated units have been asked to send five players (maximum) each to attend the trials.
ODAA has also instructed that players coming for the trials should carry a magistrate’s affidavit showing the date of birth and also carry the original birth certificate. This was made mandatory after OCA received much flak due to age fudging in previous years.
