Bhadrak: Bijay Sethi, brother of Bishnu Charan Sethi, BJP’s candidate for Dhamnagar Assembly seat and state vice-president of the party, Saturday joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
Bijay joined the ruling party in the presence of Bhadrak district BJD president Jagannath Swain, MLA Muktikant Mandal and several senior BJD leaders of the district at a special function held here Saturday. Earlier, Biswajit Mohanty, who resigned from the saffron party, joined the ruling BJD Friday.
Mohanty was formally inducted into the ruling party in the presence of BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas.
