BJD observer says Panda not reachable

Bhubaneswar: BJD women’s wing president and party’s Kendrapara observer Pramila Mallick who has been asked by the party chief to probe the alleged anti-party activities of MP Baijayant Panda Friday said that the Kendrapara MP remains incommunicado.
Speaking to media, Mallick said that she had been trying to meet him for the past two days but to no avail. “I had also informed this to his secretary but haven’t been able to contact him so far,” she said.
The MP, however, took to Twitter to clarify. In his tweet, Panda said that the allegation is not true.
He said that he wasn’t available last night so he called her back this morning and spoke to her.
“I asked her to give me in writing the allegations against me and I would respond. She agreed.”
Notably, after BJD leaders from Nischintakoili, Mahakalpara brought allegations against Panda that he was not in contact with BJD leaders in his locality and has not utilised MPLAD funds properly, the party president and CM had asked Mallick and the party’s Cuttack observer, Usha Devi, to probe his political activities.
