Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal Monday suspended Shreemayee Mishra, General Secretary for Women Affairs, along with Subas Chandra Sai and Prabir Chandra Sai for alleged anti-party activities, effective immediately.

The decision was confirmed by BJD Vice President Pratap Jena through an official order. Party sources said the suspensions come in response to actions deemed contrary to the party’s interests.

The move signals the party’s intent to enforce discipline among its leadership ranks as it prepares for upcoming political challenges in the state.
