Bhubaneswar: The bodies of a lady and her paramour were found hanging in a hotel room at Ashok Nagar under the Capital police limits Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Subhankar Majhi ,26, of Bainchi village and Tumparani Pakhira ,36, of Kharubaria Paschim of Howrah district in Wes Bengal.
The couple who checked in the hotel May 22 was reportedly engaged in an altercation over some unknown issue Thursday morning. Later, in the evening, the hotel staff found their bodies hanging from the ceiling fan of the hotel room 114.
The hotel staff immediately informed the Capital police who started an investigation into the matter after reaching the spot.
