Bolangir-Bhainsapalli train from October: East Coast GM

Bolangir: The train from Bolangir to Bhainsapalli will start from October while Sonepur and Boudh will be connected with rail network, said Umesh Singh, general manager of East Coast railways.

He made the statement while reviewing the Khurda- Bolangir rail route project here Tuesday.

The 15-km long rail line work from Bhainsapali to Bolangir is nearing completion. Singh travelled in a special train from Bhubaneswar to Nayagarh to oversee the work.

He monitored the rail line work from Nayagarh to Nuagaon and expressed satisfaction in its progress. Later, he travelled by road from Nuagaon and visited Daspalla, Boudh, Sonepur and Bhainsapalli near Tarabha — the places where the rail line will pass through.

He also reviewed the construction work of the railway station at Bhainsapalli.

Later, Singh along with Sambalpur DRM Jaydeep Gupta and other senior officials returned to Bhubaneswar by a special train from Bolangir.
