Rourkela: Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha here signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla Tuesday for establishing an e-evaluation centre at VSSUT, Burla in the presence of Vice Chancellors Prof Amiya Kumar Rath of BPUT, Odisha and Prof Banshidhar Majhi of VSSUT, Burla.
Also present on the occasion were the two registrars Nishi Poonam Minz of BPUT and Pradeep Dang of VSSUT. These two universities shall facilitate the timely publication of the semester results of all programmes. The online evaluation with the best features shall help faculty members to evaluate the answer scripts at their convenient time without hampering their usual academic assignments. BPUT started the digital evaluation system in 2015 and established e-evaluation centres throughout Odisha.
Senior officials of BPUT were present during the signing. BPUT VC Prof Rath expressed his happiness over the signing of the MoU. “I am happy that this has become possible. I am also confident that the faculty members will contribute with their knowledge and effort to make this digital evaluation a successful drive and the centre at VSSUT, Burla will be a big boost for the entire process of evaluation.” VSSUT VC Prof B Majhi said, “We are going to extend all our support to provide good service for technical education in Odisha under the ambit of SD&TE department.”
