Bhubaneswar, Sept 30: Chandrasekharpur Athletic Association (CAA) and City Club played out a drab goalless draw in a Group A match of the Gati Krushna Memorial football tournament at the Unit I HS Ground here Wednesday.
Strangely both the teams were happy in playing a defensive game and the ball was mostly confined to the midfield. Both sides failed to have a clear look at the opposition goal during the entire duration of the tie.
Thursday’s match: MS XI vs Xavier Premier.
Chess tourney
Khurda District Association will organise the IVth Bhubaneswar All India FIDE Rating Chess Championship at the Kalinga Stadium here October 9-12. Players having rating of 1800 points and below can participate in the tournament.
