Malkangiri: A cat saved its master and his family members from being attacked by a cobra at Naketeshwari Mandir Sahi here Tuesday.
According to reports, the cobra tried to slither inside the house of a police official Kartik Gunth in the evening but his pet cat did not allow the reptile in. The snake tried several times to get in but the cat didn’t let it happen.
On noticing the faceoff, locals rushed to the spot and alerted Gunth and his family members. On being informed, a snake helpline member reached the spot and rescued the snake.
