Bhubaneswar, June 3: Citybased model Sonika Roy has been selected to represent the country in the Miss India Pacific International beauty pageant. She was facilitated at an event here Sunday. Overwhelmed with her selection, Sonika said, “I am preparing myself to compete with competitors from other countries. I will try my best to represent the Indian culture in front of the world. I will put all my efforts to bring the title to the country and make our state proud.” Sonika has participated in many beauty contests, representing the state. However, it is for the first time that she will contest at international levels.
