Bhubaneswar, Jan 17: Governor SC Jamir will hoist the national flag in Bhubaneswar, while Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will do so in Cuttack, during the Republic Day celebrations.
School and mass education minister Debi Prasad Mishra will attend the flag hoisting ceremony in the national capital.
Finance minister Pradip Amat will hoist the national flag at Puri town, agriculture minister Pradeep Maharathy will attend the R-day ceremony at Dhenkanal and forest and environment minister Bikram Keshari Arukha at Jagatsinghpur district, according to a schedule fixed by the Chief Minister.
Women and child development minister Usha Devi will receive the parade in Kandhamal district, while SC, ST development minister Lal Bihari Himrika and MSME minister Jogendra Behera will hoist the flags in Khurda and Malkangiri district headquarter towns respectively.
Rural development minister Badri Narayan Patra will hoist the flag at Balasore, while housing and urban development minister Puspendra Singhdeo will do so at Nabrangpur, steel and mines minister Prafulla Kumar Mallik at Koraput, transport and commerce minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi at Rayagada, and health minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak at Angul.
Panchayati raj minister Arun Kumar Sahoo will attend the ceremony at Jharsuguda, while food supply and consumer welfare minister Sanjay Kumar Das Burma do so in Sundargarh and sports and youth affairs minister Sudam Marandi in Keonjhar district.
Tourism and culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda will hoist the flag at Mayurbhanj district, energy minister Pranab Prakash Das at Rourkela, Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy in Gajapati and textile handoolom and handicraft minister Snehangini Chhuria in Kalahandi.
Revenue divisional commisioner central, south and north hoist the flag at in Jajpur, Berhampur and Sambalpur towns respectevely.
In the nine rest districts of Nayagarh, Kendrapara, Nuapada, Boudh, Deogarh, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Subarnapur and Ganjam (Chhatrapur), the collectors will hoist the flags in the distcrit headquaters.
