Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police Thursday affected a major reshuffle in the ranks of Additional DCPs, Assistant CPs and Inspectors deployed at various police stations and other places in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
Around 20 officers in the rank of DCPs and ACPs, 30 Inspectors and 66 Sub-Inspectors were transferred from their current places of posting in the twin city.
Himanshu Bhushan Swain, in-charge of Khandagiri police station, has been posted as the IIC of Badambadi police station, while Girija Shankar Chakrabarty, who is currently posted at the headquarters of the Commissionerate Police, has been appointed as the IIC of the Capital police station. Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra, the current IIC of Badambadi, will be the new IIC of Khandagiri police station.
Rabinarayan Satpathy and Asim Kumar Panda, ACPs of Zone I and VI respectively, have been posted as the ACP, Judicial department, at the headquarters of the Commissionerate. Similarly, Tarun Kumar Das and Bishnu Prasda Mishra have been posted as the new ACPs of Zone VI and I respectively.
