Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a couple of Banta area in Bhadrak district were reportedly trying to sell their newborn baby girl’s in SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, Cuttack child line coordinator Narayan Sukka reached the hospital and launched a probe.
According to sources, a woman of Banta area was admitted to SCB after she experienced labour pain. While the couple was parents to two girls, the woman gave birth to a triplet in the hospital. All of the newborns were girls.
So, the couple reportedly tried to sell the two newborn girls.
