Cuttack, Jan 9: Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) has retained the same 15-member Ranji Trophy team for their upcoming Group B away tie against Delhi January 13-16. Orissa finished with a single point from their last home tie against Vidarbha.
The Squad: Natraj Behera, Biplab Samantray, Abhilash Mallick (captain), Govind Poddar, Arvind Singh, Anurag Sarangi, Haladhar Das, Subhrajit Sahu, Deepak Behera, Basant Mohanty, Suryakanta Pradhan, Alok Mangaraj, Dhiraj Singh and Langnajeet Samal.
Players’ selection
Sports Authority of India (SAI) will conduct the players’ selection for its training centre at the Barabati Stadium here January 15. Players will be selected for basketball, football and racing in both boys’ and the girls’ segments.

Bengal earned a vital first innings lead, while Maharashtra piled on a huge total in the All India U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket tournament quarterfinal matches at different grounds here Saturday.
At the Ravenshaw Ground, Andhra Pradesh (AP) were bundled out for 203, in reply to Bengal’s first innings score of 238. Mahip Kumar (74, 150b, 9×4) scored a half century, but that was not enough to save his team from trailing. Souvik Pal (6/48) and Raghab Tiberwal (3/61) bowled well to thwart AP. In their second innings Bengal were 174 for the loss of five wickets.
At the Nimpur Ground, Maharashtra scored a mammoth 548 runs in their first innings against Karnataka. OM Bhosale (188, 403b, 23×4) and Hrishikesh Motkar (103, 159b, 18×4) hit centuries to torment Karnataka’s bowlers. In reply, Karnataka were 177 for the loss of three wickets at the end of day three.
