Cuttack: In view of rising incidences of kidney related ailments, the state government has decided to set up a dialysis centre at Narasinghpur block in the district.
The government has also planned to install two semi auto analyser machines each at Kanpur and Maniabandh hospitals for prompt diagnosis of renal ailments.
Currently, the patients have to visit SCB Medical College and Hospital for dialysis. Once the machines are set up, the patients will not have to travel 80 to 90 km to undergo dialysis and other diagnosis. Earlier, the district administration had supplied two analyser machines each to Badamba and Narasinghpur health centres.
