Bhubaneswar, March 23: East Coast Railway (ECoR) entered the semifinals of the IInd All India Chandan Cup Women’s football tournament, blanking Bihar 2-0 at the Baramunda Ground here Monday.
ECoR dominated the match completely scoring once in each half. Sangita Patra opened the account in the 11th minute and ECoR went into the lemon break 1-0 ahead.
After the change of ends, ECoR continued to dominate and got their second goal when Sasmita Ekka scored in the 64th minute. ECoR will meet Cuttack Athletic Association in the first semifinal Tuesday.
