Bhubaneswar: Designer duo Roshan Kumar and Dinendra Pratap Singh Deo of Posh Affair Designer lounge put up a show of their creations here Sunday. The show, named Nazaakat, featured a host of models celebrities including actors Jigyasa Singh and Prakruti Mishra. Nazaakat featured Indo-Western and bridal collection of the duo.
First on the ramp was the Indo-Western collection based on traditional Odia wear. “The dresses and textiles of Odisha offer the flexibility for a designer to work with and experiment,” Roshan said. Prakruti, who is playing the lead in Hindi serial ‘Bitti Businesswali’, was the highlight on the ramp for Roshan’s collection.
Next on the ramp was a bridalwear collection designed for use on occasions beyond just the nuptials. The collection was light on lace work and artisanship. Jigyasa walked the ramp as the showstopper.
It was the second season of the fashion show conducted by Posh Affairs. A fashion magazine and an e-commerce website were also launched on the occasion.
Designer Dinendra said Posh Affair was working towards creating designer garments for women, which also made them look royal.
