Angul: Eminent freedom fighter Dibakar Pradhan passed away at his residence in Angul’s Susuda Monday. He was 98.
He was suffering from age-related ailments for a long time.
After being inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology, he opted to join the freedom struggle against British colonialism and participated in activities to free India. He was also imprisoned for the same.
On getting information of Dibakar’s demise, Angul district Collector, SP and many noted personalities of the area visited his residence and paid floral tribute to the parted soul.
