Mumbai: Thanks to the convergence of technology, a woman delivered a newborn baby exactly three years after the death of her husband in a car accident.
Though it sounds strange, it is true. The miracle story goes back to August 2015. Surpiya Jain, a marketing consultant and her husband Gaurav S decided to get a baby through IVF as they were not having a baby.
Sadly, right after they went through the procedure, Gaurav was killed in a car accident. Later, Supriya decided to have Gaurav’s baby and met Dr Firuza Parikh of Jaslok Hospital, who helped deliver miracle babies in Mumbai.
The doctor first fertilized enough eggs. However, the IVF cycles did not work, so they decided to find a surrogate. This time, it worked.
Supriya finally held her late husband’s legacy in her arms, just the exact same time that she had spoken to him for the last time.
