Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out at a garments showroom located on Janpath in the capital Sunday evening. No loss of life was reported. Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
The fire broke out on the third floor of the branded BlackberryS showroom. The shop staff said goods worth lakhs were destroyed.
The fire caused damage to a nearby store too. The incident caused traffic snarls on the busy Janpath Road. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, but the first blame was on short circuit.
