Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident that has sparked outrage in the Capital, a woman was brutally attacked by a food delivery boy inside her home after she allegedly questioned him about the delay in her parcel delivery.
The victim, identified as Binodini Rath, a resident of the Shampur area, was left bleeding and seriously injured after the altercation. According to eyewitnesses and local sources, an argument broke out between the two over the delayed delivery. The situation quickly escalated, and in an unprovoked act of violence, the delivery boy reportedly attacked her with a sharp weapon.
Rath sustained injuries to her head, arms, and back and was immediately rushed to a private medical facility, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

Police reached the spot shortly after receiving the information and have begun a thorough investigation into the matter. However, no official statement has been released by the authorities as of now.
