Bantala: The district forest office at Angul witnessed a fight between officials and localsWednesday.
Pradeep Sahoo and Jitendra Samal of Madan Mohan Patana of Puruna Garh allegedly hurled abusive words and beat up the assistant conservator of forest, Basudev Naik and some other employees.
Police was called in, leading to the detention of two men. The employees discontinued their work and went to meet the SP. In the absence of SP, they registered a compliant with additional SP Jadunath Hansda.
An investigation is on.
