Kendrapara: The Crime Branch’s Special Task Force (STF) led by DIG Himanshu Lal raided the house of arrested gangster Tito and other places in Kendrapara Friday to find his links with the underworld. The STF seized incriminating documents during the raid.

STF raided Tito’s mutt in Dilwarpur village. They also raided the house of his four younger brothers and the office of Sappu, another brother of Tito, in Dilwarpur.

The STF did not find anything except six bank passbooks and cheque books of Benazir Bibi, the wife of Tito.

The STF got evidence and documents about Tito’s sand lease business and his transport and petrol pump businesses in Kendrapara .The team also seized some PAN numbers of the gangster’s family members.

The team also raided Benazir Infrastructure Private Limited (BIPL) and Sayed Brothers’ filling station in Kendrapara and seized important documents.

DIG Himanshu Lal said, “We found several incriminating documents on Tito’s businesses. Raids were conducted simultaneously in Cuttack and two places in Paradip to seize documents on Tito’s scrap trade, stevedores business in his wife’s name and heavy vehicle transport business named 4T Association.”

The STF sealed BIPL, Sumbul Traders and Sayed Brothers’ Filling Station in Kendrapara.
