Koraput: The police Saturday night seized around 3000 kg of ganja from a truck at Machhkund under Lamtaput block in Koraput district.
The estimated value of the contraband would be Rs 1.5 crore. The ganja was being smuggled to a neighbouring state, it was learnt.
According to reports, the truck was intercepted by police for its high speed. While the truck was seized and brought to the police station, the driver managed to escape. The cops later found ganja in the vehicle.
