Bhubaneswar, May 17: Renowned stand-up comedian Sunil Grover, who is popularly known as Dr Mashoor Gulati (a former character at The Kapil Sharma Show), will make Bhubaneswarites roll around with laughter in his upcoming event at city’s Janata Maidan May 28.
Dr Gulati will perform live at an event titled ‘Odisha Global.’ Sunil will perform with Kikku Sharda (Bumper from Kapil Sharma show fame) at the event.
“Yes, it’s a great privilege to have best comedian in Bollywood industry Sunil Grover along with Kikku Sharda in our mega event. Of course, both have won millions of hearts with his character Dr Mashoor Gulati and Bumper and people of Orissa want to watch their live performances,” said the organiser.
Sunil acted in many comedy shows but gained popularity on Comedy Nights With Kapil Sharma Show, for his portrayal of a character called Gutthi. In addition to Dr Gulati and Bumper’s performances, the extravaganza will also witness other performances, including a presentation by Prince Dance Group, singer Deepali Sahay and Indian Idol Junior Winner Ananya Nanda recitals.
Ticket booking has started. “I am eagerly waiting to watch live performance of my favorite Dr Gulati. My friends too have already booked tickets,” Gulati Srtitam Pradhan said.
