Bhanjanagar: Vigilance officials conducted raids at the residence of Ghumusar South Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Bijay Ketan Acharya here in Ganjam district Saturday.
From the wee hours, the Berhampur vigilance sleuths conducted raids at Acharya’s residence for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to reports, simultaneous raids were made at five locations including Bijay’s Bhubaneswar and Cuttack residences, and his government quarter and office located here.
Details of the raids are not available till the filing of this report.
