Chitakonda: A team of Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) Tuesday visited Chitrakonda Eco-park in Malkangiri district and took notes on various issues pertaining to the park.
The GSDP team also discussed with forest officials regarding the park’s development and also reviewed the current status.
Similarly, the forest department officials highlighted various issues of the park, while divisional forest officer Balaram Nayak and forest guard Mrutunjay Sethy alerted the GSDP team and suggested that the water bodies inside the park should be strengthened.
The forest officials also focused on crocodile reproduction and their conservation at the park. They also sought operation of toy trains in the park and demanded administrative action to address local issues.
