Bhubaneswar, Feb 19: Sambalpur, riding on the master class innings of Ajay Kumar Hota (90), thumped Keonjhar by 132 runs in a match of the Kalahandi Cup Inter-district cricket tournament at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Wednesday. Deepti Bhusan Bihari (6/23) was the star bowler of the day as Kendrapara dispatched Kalahandi by 118 runs after electing to bat first.

(At Ravenshaw Ground-1): Kedrapara 245 (Rohit Gahana 63 n o, Biswa Bhusan Bihari 58; Karunakara Majhi 4/38) beat Kalahandi 127 (Khirod Majhi 62; Deepti Bhusan Bihari 6/23, Jiban Mohanty 3/18) by 118 runs.
(At Nimpur Ground): Koraput 146 (Bikhyat Biswal 3/22, Bhabatosh Paramanik 2/21, Ajit Yadav 2/21) lost to Bargarh 150/4 (Praveen Luha 40 n o, Rupak Pradhan 38) by six wickets.
