There is a temple in our country where people are looking forward to fulfilling their wishes by offering handcuffing to the goddess.
Its name is Diwak Temple located Jolar Gram Panchayat in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. People from far places visit this temple and offer handcuffs to please the goddess, presiding in the temple.
Here is a trident around 200 years old in the temple premises, where it is seen that the handcuffs are tied to trident, many of them are more than 100 years old.
There are many people here who want to get their families out of jail. That’s why they offer handcuffs.
Long ago, here used to be dacoits in this forest who worshiped the goddess. Gradually, they started making wish of fleeing from the jail, once there wished is fulfilled they offer handcuff.
Since then, this trend has been going on till now.
