Mumbai: After ‘Kabir Singh’, Kiara Advani will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Yes, the Anees Bazmee directorial has found its female protagonist.
According to a report, few names were surfaced but Kiara was the actress who has been finalised. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
Shooting for the film will begin in October this year.
Talking about the film, in the first part of the film, the story revolves around a couple who move to their ancestral palace but soon, mysterious occurrences start taking place with chatter about the place being haunted gaining credence. Akshay Kumar played the psychiatrist in the film whereas Vidya Balan’s character was the one that got possessed by the ghost of Manjulika.
On work front, Kiara will be seen in three other movies. The actress will be seen opposite Akshay in ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and ‘Good News’. She will also be seen with Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Shershaah’.
While Kartik will be seen in ‘Aaj Kal 2’ opposite Sara Ali Khan and ‘Pati Patni Aur Who’ opposite Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
The movie is an official remake of Malayalam movie Manichitratazhu, smartly tackles superstitions and also throws some light on mental disorders.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya 2’ is all set to hit the screens July 31, 2020.
