Bisoi: A young man was found hanging from a tree at Jamirdiha village under Bisoi police limits in Mayurbhanj district Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh Kasaba. He is a native of Madhya Pradesh.
According to sources, he committed suicide late Sunday night by hanging from a branch of a nearby mango tree with the ropes of the cot he was sleeping on.
He was in love with local man Rameshwar Patra’s daughter and had married her few years back. This time, he had been on a visit to his father-in-law’s house to Jamirdiha along with his wife for few days.
On being informed, Bisoi IIC Kuni Besra along with a team reached at the spot and started an investigation into the incident. The body of the deceased has been sent to Rairangpur government hospital for post mortem.
While the reason of his suicide is yet to be ascertained, police are leaving no stones unturned to reach a conclusion.
