Bhubaneswar: A man committed suicide by hanging himself on Platform No 2-3 of Bhubaneswar Railway Station Saturday morning.
As per reports, the man hanged himself with the help of a towel under the newly constructed foot over bridge on platform number 2-3 at around 11.30 am. The incident occurred before the railway passengers and they alerted the Government Railway Police (GRP). The GRP officials rushed to the spot and brought down the body.
The identity of the body is yet to be ascertained as no clue has been found by now from his personal belongings. The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem and investigation is on.
