Cuttack: The Commissionerate of Police Tuesday arrested a person for allegedly raping and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter at Lalbag area in Cuttack.
According to reports, the 38-year-old accused who is a carpenter was living with his daughter in a rented house after getting separated from his wife.
The victim, a Class X student was allegedly confined to the house for about a month.
On the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother, the accused was arrested and the girl was rescued by Childline officials.
