Kendrapara: Ad hoc Additional Session Judge (Fast Track Court) of Kendrapada Tribikram Keshari Chinnar Friday sentenced a man to three years of Rigorous imprisonment (RI) and a fine amount of Rs 5,000 for outraging the modesty of a fellow village woman.
The judge ordered in default of the fine amount, the convict would further undergo another six months of Rigorous imprisonment.
The convict identified as Gulia alias Gurucharan Sethy had outraged the modesty of the woman at Resho village under Pattamundai police station in August 2014.
The victim woman had lodged an FIR with Pattamundai police station alleging that on the night of August 26, 2014 Gulia forcibly entered her house while she was sleeping with her one-year-old son and raped her.
