Rayagada: Maoist posters appealing people to observe August 15 as Black Day were found at various places in Kalyansinghpur area of Rayagada district Tuesday.
The posters reportedly issued by the CPI(M), the naxals have mentioned that though it’s been 72 years since the nation got its independence, many people are still deprived of basic facilities even today. Hence, they will observe August 15 as Black Day, the posters read.
Besides, the posters also claimed that CRPF jawans install bombs in Ambaguda area and later deactivate the same in order to defame Maoist organisations.
Meanwhile, the Odisha police have tightened security arrangements in all districts, especially in Maoist-hit areas to avoid any untoward incident on Independence Day Wednesday.
