Phulbani: After a brief hiatus, the Maoists have made their presence felt by putting up threat letters in Kandhamal district, Saturday.
Through the posters, found at various places in Baliguda, the Maoists have issued threats to kill two police officials – the IICs of Phiringia and Gochapadar police stations. The posters were released in the name of Kalahandi-Kandhamal-Boudh-Nayagarh (KKBN) division of the outlawed outfit CPI (Maoist).
On receiving information, police seized the posters. Meanwhile, a combing operation has been launched in the Maoist-infested area.
