Rupsa: A minor college girl was abducted from this area under Sadar block in Balasore district Monday. Based on a complaint by the girl’s father, police registered a case and launched a probe.
The alleged abductor was Kalia Sethy of the same village. The girl hailed from Podadiha village and was studying at a local college.
Her father said Sethy was having a “one-sided relationship” with the girl and she was taken away forcibly while she was on her way to college.
