Phulbani: Miscreants made a hole inside an SBI ATM kiosk and looted cash late Thursday night in this town in Kandhamal district.
Taking advantage of the torrential rain triggered by the cyclonic storm, Titli, miscreants made a three-foot-wide hole in the wall of the SBI ATM kiosk located at FCI Square. They then broke the ATM machine and looted the cash.
The matter came to the fore after locals informed the police on finding the big hole in the wall in the morning. Police reached the spot and informed the bank authorities.
Investigation is underway. However, the amount of cash looted by the miscreants is yet to be ascertained.
