Mob pushes man off moving train

Koraput: A mob allegedly pushed a man from a moving train running from Kirandul to Visakhapatnam. The victim has been identified as Javed Mohammad of Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, who lost one of his legs in the accident and sustained critical injuries. He was rescued by some locals and later admitted to Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital, Koraput. The Government Railway Police (GRP) has launched a probe into the incident.

According to reports, Kirand to Visakhapatnam Express was travelling from Jagdalpur to Vishakhapatnam. Before Padua station, the victim reportedly came into a verbal altercation with some of the co-passengers.

Later he moved and sat near the door of that compartment. During that moment, the involved co-passengers pushed him off the moving train. The locals admitted him to the Nandapur Community Health Center and later he was shifted to Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital.
