Cuttack: East Coast Railway (ECoR) registered a narrow victory against Young Utkal Club (YUC) by a solitary goal in their FAO Ist division league match at the Barabati Stadium here, Tuesday.
Sanatan Lohar scored the all-important goal of the match in the second minute. After that the game degenerated into a drab affair.
In the other match of the day Rising Student Club (RSC) got a walkover as their opponents YVCG didn’t turn up.

Ragnarok eke out a draw
Ragnarok Football Club (RFC) played out an exciting 2-2 draw against Khandagiri Football Club (KFC) in a keenly-contested match of the Gati Krushna Memorial Football League (Division-B) in Bhubaneswar, Tuesday.
KFC opened the scoring in the third minute when Abhinash Swain found the back of the net from close range. The lead didn’t last long as Manas Behera equalised for RFC in the 23rd minute. Rudra Narayan Pattnaik made it 2-1 for KFC in the 52nd minute before Dilip Parida restored parity once for RFC in the 64th minute.
