Hassan (Bangalore): Minutes after her marriage, a newlywed bride straight away headed away to her exam centre to write her final year B.Com Exam Sunday.
The incident has been reported from Hassan near Bangalore in Karnataka.
According to sources HR Shweta married a youth identified as Naveen from Arsikere Sunday.
Just after tying the knot with her now husband Naveen, Shweta, in full bridal attire, walked in to her examination centre to write her academic exam.
It almost seemed like a scene from a movie, with her husband happily waiting for his wife to complete her exam outside the hall.
Shwetha is a final year student of the Governmet First Grade College based in Hassan’s MG Road. Due to the by-elections held for the Mandya Loksabha seat, the examination for one of her subjects, which was earlied fixed for November 3, was postponed to November 18. The new date coincidentally fell on the date of her marriage.
But this sudden change in schedule did not hinder with the couple’s plans and spirit. Shwetha and Naveen got married Sunday early morning in an auspicious lagnam, after which, the bride directly proceeded to the examination centre along with her family members. She later gave the re-scheduled exams for the Corporate accounts and Law from Mysuru University.
“I studied properly to complete the exam and didn’t want to lose this opportunity. My parents and in-laws too agreed for this. Never thought that exam will be scheduled for the day of my marriage. It is new experience and I hope to pass it with distinction,” said Shwetha, who later joined her husband and continued their celebrations.
