Kendrapara: In a shocking incident, a female nursing student was found hanging in a rented house in Belatala village under Pattamundai area here in this district late Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sarojini Das of Itapada village in Jajpur district. She was in first year nursing student of Ramadevi Nursing College in Kendrapara, informed sources. She had shifted to Kendrapara to pursue her course and was living in a rented room.
While the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, cops are further probing into the matter. It is suspected that she might have taken the extreme step over love affair.
