Bhubaneswar: Hrishita Himalika, a meritorious Odia student from Delhi University, has been selected to pursue her M Sc in Strategic Marketing at the prestigious Imperial Business School, part of Imperial College London, which currently ranks second globally for academic excellence.
Hrishita’s academic journey includes offers from other top-tier institutions such as Trinity College Dublin, Warwick University, and Edinburgh University.
In 2024, she also attended a specialised course at the London School of Economics, further enriching her international academic exposure.
She completed her schooling at Mother’s Public School and SAI International School, Bhubaneswar and earned her B.Com (Honours) degree from Delhi University.

Her achievement has been widely appreciated by national and academic leaders, including Balram Pani, Dean, Delhi University, Santosh Kumar Tripathy, Vice Chancellor of FM University, Kishore K Basa, Chairman, National Monument Authority and Ashok Das, Former VC of Utkal University.
Hrishita is the daughter of Gadadhar Rath and Banani Rath, both serving in the Ministry of Communications at the Centre and residents of Basudev Nagar in Bhubaneswar.
She is the granddaughter of late educators Prasanna Kumar Rath of Dhansar, Banki and Banambar Rath of Khurda.
