Malkangiri: Telugu movie actor Allu Arjun was spotted in Odisha’s Malkangiri district for the shooting of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
Pictures of him wearing black shorts went viral on the internet.
According to a source, the film will be shot at various locations of Swabhiman Anchal and Saptadhara in Malkangiri district.
The much-awaited film’s production house Mythri Movie Makers after selecting locations had previously written to Malkangiri Collector Vishal Singh and Superintendent of Police (SP) Nitesh Wadhwani seeking their permission for the shooting of the film.
The excitement levels of Odia fans for the Telugu star reached their peak after reports surfaced that the movie will also be shot in the Malkangiri district.
Notably, ‘Pushpa-2’ is not the first movie of the Telugu star to be shot in the state. Earlier, his movie ‘Arya’ was also shot in Odisha’s Rayagada.
Apart from Allu Arjun, the movie will also feature Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
Pushpa 2 is the sequel of the blockbuster film ‘Pushpa: The Rise‘ whose collection went beyond Rs350 crore gross in 2021.
