Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police has bagged Gold Medal for its dynamic web portal at 52nd SKOCH Summit, 2018 held in New Delhi Saturday.
The web portal, (www.odishapolice.gov.in) of Odisha Police was designed and developed by Suyog Computech on complementary basis under the technical support of NIC Bhubaneswar.
Inspector General, SAP, Sanjeeb Panda received the award on behalf of Odisha Police.
Office of Odisha director general of police tweeted, “Happy to share that @odisha_police has bagged the Gold Medal for ‘Dynamic Web Portal’ at 52nd SKOCH Summit- 2018 at New Delhi. Sh. Sanjeeb Panda, IPS, IGP, SAP received the award on behalf of Odisha Police.”
The web portal was launched in 2014 which has more than 15 crore visitors during the last four years.
Though it is a citizen portal integration, it provides various citizen centric online police services to the citizens.
It also caters to the requirements of its 72,000 personnel in more than 90 establishments spread all over the state.
