Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 175 new Covid positive cases three less than Monday during the past 24 hours taking the total number of Covid positive cases in the state to 10,51,927.
Monday the state reported 178 new cases, 160 cases Sunday and 173 fresh Covid cases Saturday.
This for the fourth consecutive day the daily Covid load in Odisha remained below 200.
Health and Family Welfare department sources said out of 175 new cases reported from 17 districts as many as101 were reported from the quarantine centres and the rest 74 were local contact cases.
The 175 new Covid positive cases included 30 cases in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
The state has now 1901 active cases.
Khordha district recorded the highest number of 82 cases followed by 12 each in Cuttack and Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh 11.
During the past 24 hours, the state reported one fatality from Bhubaneswar, a 66-year-old woman taking the total death tally in the state to 8437.
Sources said 171 more Covid patients were cured of the virus Mondy taking the total recoveries in the state to 10,41,536.
