Bhubaneswar: A 23-year-old man died Monday after falling from the 8th floor of Chandrama Apartment under Kharvel Nagar police limits in Bhubaneswar.
The deceased was identified as Anurag Manas Tudu, who was an LLB student at National Law University, Odisha located in Cuttack.
According to the source, Tudu came to Chandrama Apartment Sunday and told the security guard that he wanted to go to the 8th floor. The 8th floor has been lying vacant for two years.
A suicide note was recovered from Tudu’s hostel room in Cuttack, the source informed.
Meanwhile, a cryptic post shared from Tudu’s social media account indicated about his motive.
A senior police official said that the actual reason behind the death has not been ascertained yet. However, the prima facie pointers suggest that it is a case of suicide.
Kharvel Nagar police have launched a probe into the incident.
