ajpur: In a freak mishap, an elderly man died as a tree branch fell on him in Guhali village near Binjharpur in the district Thursday . The deceased was Surendra Kumar Dhal.
The Nor’wester rain lashed the village along with gusty winds in the evening. Surendra, in his 70s, was out of his home and crossing a road when a branch of the tree fell on his head. He was injured in the head and bled profusely.
Locals rushed Surendra in a critical condition to Jajpur DHH at night. He died there.
